Licensing

The Decent Framework™ is a set of licensed Intellectual Property products.

We currently offer licenses for internal commercial use (clients), and for external commercial use (partners). For more information on partnerships, check here.

For those considering client licenses - please refer to the pricing information below. Please note that these are not final terms and are provided for planning purposes only.

Client License Overview

We aim to make licensing as streamlined and transparent as possible.

During a Decent journey, our clients will come across (2) license types:

  • Pilot Client License
  • Annual Client License

This progression provides our clients time to onboard and realize value prior entering the annual license renewal cycle.

Pilot Client License

All clients are granted (1) Pilot Client License.

The Pilot Client License provide clients access to the same products as the Annual Client License for a 6-month period. The Pilot Client License fee is calculated at 25% of the Annual Client License fee.

Ex:

  • Annual Client License fee: $100,000
  • Pilot Client License fee: $25,000

This allows clients a grace period to conduct onboarding activities and assess value.

Annual Client License

After the Pilot Client License expires, clients will convert to the Annual Client License.

This license renews on an annual cycle, with standard terms for all clients.

The fee for an Annual Client License is calculated as (0.10%) of the organization's Total Capital Flow (TCF).

Ex:

  • TCF: $100,000,000
  • Annual Client License fee: $100,000
  • Pilot Client License fee: $25,000

TCF is used to calculate fees since the Decent Framework™ governs expense and revenue-generating activities.

Total Capital Flow (TCF)

TCF is calculated as the sum of Revenue and Expense.

  • TCF = Revenue + Expense

For transparency and consistency, the Annual Client License fee is calculated using the prior year's tax information. Examples of common reference fields include:

Revenue:

  • Gross Receipts
  • Gross Revenue
  • Sales

Expense:

  • Total Deductions
  • Total Expenses

Note:

  • Net Income = Revenue - Expense

By using tax information, we aim to provide a consistent and transparent experience.

Engagements

Though we are not a consulting company, we reserve the right to conduct limited engagements to better serve our clients.

Engagements are not included in any of our license structures, and may result in added expense.

Education and Training

Client licenses include limited support for education and training opportunities.

In most cases, organizations will want to invest in additional opportunities above and beyond what is included in their license.

Tools

Client licenses include access to all current and supported client resources.

Our tools, offerings, and versions will change over time. However, we have a strong roadmap that will significantly increase client capabilities and add to the client toolset.
